PostSubject: Raito Shuryuu   Raito Shuryuu Icon_minitimeWed Jul 08, 2009 9:18 am

Name: Raito Shuryuu

Gender: Male

Visual Age: 19

Real Age: 682

Reatsu Colour: Deep, Metallic Purple

Appearance:

A young man, standing at 5"10, with the face of a teenager and an athletic body. His hair is of a light red color, as are his eyes. While he is quite good looking, his young looks often get him tagged as cute, rather than handsome. He wears the regular Shinigami Robes, with his Captains Haori on top, marked with the symbol of the Second Division. A modification to his Haori is a brownish scarf that he wears over his Haori, which is nothing more than a little something he likes to keep on. Its has no special sentimental value or anything, but it has been observed, that when he is about to fight seriously, he removes his scarf.
He weighs about 54 Kgs.

Spoiler:

Personality: Principle lodged in the eyes. That would be a good way to describe him. He has always been one to enforce the rules, but of course, when push comes to shove, he won't mind bending a few to get what he wants. More or less, he acts like a jerk with a sarcastic or cocky remark here or there to amuse himself. He remains serious for quite some time, but tends to do the craziest of things that sort of contradict his personality. While he acts calm and level headed most of the time, he prefers not to act to arrogant or stern, he can be quite an asshole when he wants to. While he does enjoy a good joke, and doesn't mind fooling around a bit, he prefers to maintain a Duty first disposition for his subordinates and his peers. Preferring Practicality and logic over blind faith, he rarely listens to stuff about god and all. He claims that he doesn't ridicule the existence of god, but prefers to rule of reason, rather than faith. During a battle, he is quite cold and cruel, rarely ever giving his enemies even an inch, before he brutally destroys them with a fighting style that is best described as Instinctively fierce, yet tactically sound. As far as socializing is concerned, he does go out once in a while, but hates it when people act idiotic around him, as it doesn't take all the much to get a remark out of him that would generally make him seem like an even bigger jerk, if it was possible. He remains mostly indifferent to what people say or the insignificant activities that go on around him, though he is quite well informed, being the Commander of the Omnitsukido. He holds a very high ranking in the Soul Society, and he knows it, and will mostly gloat about it, if he gets the chance.

Likes and Dislikes:

Likes: Some nice quite time. Provoking idiotic and headstrong people. Spending time with a few people that he deems are worthy of being talked to. Chinese Cuisine.

Dislikes: Stupidity and Arrogance together.

Division: Captain of the Second Division | Commander of the Omnitsukido

History: Life on Earth. Simple. Nothing grand. Born to a Asian family that migrated to the America's and became the owner of a grand, Capitalist Company. He grew up for his first few years in the american sub-continent. Life wasn't all that great, but being born into a rich family saved him from the suffering that plagued the poor. His birth was celebrated, and he was cherished. The only child to a rich family. What can you expect? Spoiled. Kind of a Brat, but nevertheless, quite a devil in his own way. Years 1-5. Easy. Nothing to worry about. Life was pleasant and all he had to do was ring for something, and it was there. Then came age six. They year of w00ts and wtfs. He realized, that he could see the dead. One would expect him to be afraid. But was he? Nope. Fear was something which could never penetrate the mind of the young boy. He took it to be something that was special to him, and enjoyed it. He was probably the only kid to have real imaginary friends. Come age 7, the situation in the country deteriorated. Drought brought hard conditions, not just for the poor, but for the rich as well. Migration ? Of course. But to where? Where else, but to the place known as Japan, their motherland. A place called Kyoto, the only place which could come close to comparing with he american life style. What to do now? The family business, too boring for the boy, and the then education was far to backward. The boy on the other hand, didn't care either way. So, the only path left, which gave both honor, and money. The path of the Samurai. Not really after the honor part. So what then? To be Honest, it was something like "fighting for my rights" and stuff that got him started on that path. He was never too keen on fighting or wasting his time with unnecessary people. Thats how he had always been. The very reason, he completed his training by the time he was 12, was because of this. He reached the same level, as a Samurai general by 14, and crossed even that level, by 15. He was, a legend of sorts. A Legend? No. Legends are thought off, or spoken off fondly. No, he wasn't a legend, but a phantasm. All over Japan. The same name, said over and over again. Years passed, and he got tired of fighting, against the Govt, for a cause that would probably not be achieved during his lifetime. By age 17, he was gone. First there was a search organised for him. But then, they just gave up.

He needed to find something to do. What better than utilize his talents with the swords to earn a living. He had no choice, so he became a Mercenary, in the Southern Parts of the Country. His Reputation grew further, but this time, not as Raito, but as Black Rose, due to his Black Garbes and his Red Hair and Eyes. He wasn't quite as successful as a Mercenary should have been, but he made it somehow. As time passed, he learnt to kill for survival. Another two Years passed. Age 19. Death. It had crept its way in. The sent a Spy, found out where he was, bombed the location. What could he do? It was arms vs the sword. The arms would definitely win, and then it was over. He was dead, but not without taking out a good 32 Govt Dogs, with him. He wasn't a Hero, nor was he a Villain, so this named his a legend. But was that the end? No, the Rose had not withered away completely yet. Not living, but wandering the lands as a soul like his would. What could you expect? He was probably not destined for soul society, but for hell. It was only a guess, but he had come to the conclusion that those men and women in the black robes were definitely not human. Then what? Demons? No, they looked to human, and their aura was too pure to be demons, unlike that of those horrible masked beasts that had tried to consume him, but fell by his hands. Almost a year passed, and time seemingly stood still for his soul, or so it seemed. As time passed, his spiritual powers began to increase. The effect of wandering the land in that form, was probably what caused it. It obviously lead to whoever was the Shinigami that presided over that area, to be lured towards it. The stamp on his head, and then the blue light and then transcendence. Nope. Thats not what happened. There was a mark on his head. But there was no blue light. Infact, there was a red, hellish light, and from what seemed like a void in the plane of space, emerged a gate. A gate so great that it made the emperors castle gates seem like a rat hole. Then there was the malevolent and chaotic red aura. The gates open, but their is a predicament. The man has never committed a crime out of any of the 7 sins. He killed no one innocent for greed, and the ones he killed for greed, were not innocent, yet he still did kill. What to do now? Was their any solution? Yes, there was.

He was looked in the eye by the skeletal head on the gate, and he was asked a question by the Shinigami. He was asked to tell the gate, if he thought that he was guilty, or he was innocent, and he had to be truthful. If he lied, no matter what he may say, he would be taken to hell. The man responded, as quick as possible "Innocent" and he stared right back at the Hollow eyes of the skull. His conscience was clear, and his eyes held a strange kind of determination. The decision was made, and he was allowed to move on to the SS. In the Soul Society, he had no memory of his past, but his personality remained the same. But for some reason, he felt like he didn't want money that much anymore. He just needed a purpose, so to say. He heard about the Gotei 13, and decided to join them, hopefully to find a purpose. The academy was nothing for him. Kido were a bit hard to master, but his body was so strong, that barely any student was even able to budge him from where he stood. He would defeat them without mercy, and with efficiency, yet his style of fighting wasn't brutish, like squad 11. His style of fighting, was what got him placed in Division 2. Division 2, 18th seat, right of the bat. His strength was great, and the speed with which he grew was greater. 9th seat within 8 years. Unrivaled in terms of style. When he fought, it seemed like there was a bucket load of adrenaline within him. His style of fighting wasn't particularly brutish, but appeared quite instinctive. Then came Shikai, the Initial Release of a Shinigami, the beginning of the bond between Shinigami and Zanpakuto. His strength grew and before he knew it, he was the 4th Seat. Many years as the 4th seat, was more than he wanted. He began training, and in secrecy, achieved Bankai. Then their were transfers, and the Aizen Incident, follow by the death of certain Shinigami. He survived, and continued the training to master his Bankai. Using that power, he proved himself infront of the CC and the others to be worthy of a Captain. Sooner than expected, he became the Captain for Squad 2, and the Commander of the Omnitsukido, earning a reputation for being merciless with his enemies.
