Appearance: Kaiyo is short in stature and has a slightly athletic build, although her physical strength is more than would be expected from her appearance. The girl has shoulder length, layered and slightly punky blonde hair; centring her cute face around her crystal blue eyes. Kaiyo also wears a red ribbon tied across her forehead and the girl is slightly protective of this possession. 5"2 with no piercings; although the girl does have a tribal tattoo at the bottom of her back.

Personality: Kaiyo is in general quite friendly and nice to others; she follows her moral code to the letter and has a clear sense of right and wrong. While being a polite friendly girl she often finds herself in bad situations at the fault of her inability to stop speaking her mind. While always having a smile on her face Kaiyo does have a habit of arguing back a lot. Being both impulsive and an anarchist Kaiyo often tries to find a happy middle ground. The girl also has a short attention span, Kaiyo is by no means stupid, but she finds it hard to concentrate on boring things. Although she tries not to Kaiyo loves to fight, she enjoys the thrill and buzz she gets from striking and opponent and blocking or dodging; also a strong believer in self sacrifice. The girl's single and only goal is to help people, a resolve set deep inside her that she cannot leave anyone to be hurt or not try and help. Kaiyo responds badly to authority and hates the formalities of saluting.

Likes and Dislikes: Kaiyo hates people who are arrogant and rude to others, but also people who take everything too seriously. Kaiyo likes having fun, she'll try anything that was excite her and give her something to do.

History:
While living Kaiyo attended an all girl’s boarding school with her two sisters. Kaiyo had a lot of friends while living; she was a very active girl who attended clubs for most sporting activities. Her sisters were the same age as Kaiyo. She came from a small village outside the town, her father was an accountant and her mother was an amateur painter. In general Kaiyo was a very happy young girl; she had a lot of friends, a loving family and good quality of life. On the day Kaiyo died she was heading home after another term of school; she had missed the first bus home and was waiting at the bus stop alone. While waiting at the bus stop she heard a woman scream from down the road, she heard the cry for help and ran towards the noise, a woman was being mugged by two men; Kaiyo managed to get both men off the woman, only to receive multiple stab wounds from one of the men. The woman was beaten within an inch of her life and the muggers escaped the scene and were never caught; Kaiyo died.

Kaiyo didn't remember how she got to Seireitei; she just remembered waking up very hungry. Fortunately for Kaiyo she found herself in one of the wealthier districts, she was given a job at a local bar, waiting tables and cleaning. It didn't take long for Kaiyo to hear the amazing tales of Shinigami, and their heroic deeds that were simply a day-to-day occurrence. While Kaiyo had never been a girl who adored such glory, the idea of helping others appealed to her. She asked around about becoming a Shinigami and, when possible, would stop and ask patrolling Shinigami in the area. After just two months Kaiyo's focus was on becoming a Shinigami; and a strong one at that; the girl began training herself for her entrance to the Shinigami Academy. Although running each day didn't improve her physical fitness much it did make Kaiyo feel calmer. Until the day finally came where the girl was accepted into the Soul Reaper Academy
