Death to the Dead, Damnation to the Living, Curse to the Forgotten.

It’s the year 2220, over 200 years since the Gotei 13 fought against Aizen and his followers, but the fight did not go as any would hope, the Shinigami and Arrancar dyeing upon each other’s blades like two warring gods. Aizen, the Espada, the captains, even Ichigo and his comrades would die in what was to come, with his last breath Aizen unleashed the full power of the Hōgyoku, not knowing, nor caring, what the result would be, and that was an cataclysm that would throw all the worlds in to chaos, normally the Hogyoku would break down the barrier between Shinigami and Hollow, turning Shinigami into Vaizards or Hollows into Arrancars, but this time it ripped the bounders between earth and the two spiritual worlds. Like a small hole in a balloon spirit energy began to leak out whilst the world collapsed around it.

The worlds were dying.

The Shinigami, now left leaderless started to slowly abandon their old home, the Divisions of the Gotei lay disbanded, even if some still hold onto their values, and now wonder the earth doing anything they can to help heal what is left of this wasteland. Some still remain within Soul Society, unwilling to so quickly abandoned their home, but with the energy ‘leaking’ out of it, it’s only a matter of time till they are forced to leave. However they still refuse to give up, new recruits that would normally go to the academy are now trained on a one-on-one bases with any that will take then under their wing.

The Arrancar are not doing much better, turning on one another like a pack of mad dogs with no leader, yet unable to strike down what is left of the Shinigami due to their own falling numbers, they have also been forced out of their home world, the spirit particles in the air thinning to the point they need to constantly hunt and feed or risk starving to death. Whilst suffering as much as the Shinigami with numbers they are doing better on social stretcher, not having much to start as anyway, they are very much dog-eat-dog or everyone for themselves, but some have formed small groups with each other like normal hollows do.

But in all of this, it is the Humans who hold all the cards in this new world, the war, the explosion of the Hogyoku, the new wave of power that has flooded their world; this did not go unnoticed by them. In the past spiritual powers in humans was uncommon, but now it is a common thing, this new spritely reach environment neutering their spirits to the point that even the weakest of them can clearly see any Shinigami or hollow. However mans primal need to stay on top of everything, to be the ruling species of this world where outraged by the knowledge of what had been going around for countless years, seeking to take back their world the humans took up arms against the Shinigami and arrancar, hunting down any that they could, not heeding any warning of offers of peace from the death gods. With the long, thought extinct Quinsy at their side, the humans became to hate the Shinigami and the arrancar with all their souls.

Yet there was one more thing that the brake down of the worlds would soon unveil.

The Kaimodosu, redeemers, sin eaters, a race as old as the Shinigami themselves started to reappear. Once sealed away by the gods of death, the explosion from the Hogyoku destroying the bindings on their world, yet being sealed away for so long a lot have died out, but what will this new force do? Seek revenge on the Shinigami? Aid the humans? Or perform their ancient duty that was given to their race?

An apocalypse 200 years in the making, a war that has turned into genocide, like a hound hunting down a wounded fox, is the world doomed to death by the human’s ignorance and pride? Or is there a way everyone can be redeemed?
